The Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus and Parishioners of Holy Spirit Church were blessed to have Transitional Deacon Gerald lead this year’s Silver Rose Prayer Service at the church on Wednesday evening, June 12th, 2024. Deacon spent three months in Mexico during a summer experience which provided him first hand knowledge and experience of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Hispanic culture. The Silver Rose Program promotes prayer for the respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Those who attended the ceremony had the opportunity to make a signed commitment to respect life. These signed prayer cards will travel with the Silver Rose to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, Mexico to be part of the Processional closing ceremony offering.
