About

Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus Council #15748 was chartered on June 26th, 2013, under the guidance of Father James P. Morgan, former pastor of the Holy Spirit Parish in Sioux Falls, SD. Initially comprised of 62 Charter Members, our Council has since flourished to include over 200 dedicated individuals, embodying the Knights of Columbus commitment to Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.

At the heart of our mission lies the overarching principles of the Knights of Columbus at a national level. Nationally, the Knights of Columbus strive to serve the Church, the community, and those in need through acts of charity and volunteerism. As members of the Holy Spirit Council, we align ourselves with this noble mission, aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of others in our parish, locally and beyond.

Within the state and national councils, the Holy Spirit Council #15748 plays a vital role as a grassroots extension of the larger organization. Led by the Grand Knight and our officers, our Council coordinates charitable endeavors, fosters a sense of unity among members, and represents our collective voice within the parish and broader community. The Knights of Columbus’ primary mission is to serve our Priests and support our Seminarians. Through our various activities and volunteer opportunities, we actively engage in serving the needs of our leaders, parish, and community, upholding the values and teachings of our Catholic faith.
