This weekend, Knights of Columbus members across Holy Spirit Parish will be wearing their KC shirts. It is not a coincidence. It is an invitation to start a conversation.
Do You Know a Knight?
Every month, the weekend before our council meeting, the Knights of Columbus Council #15748 asks all of its members to wear their KC shirts to Mass. The reason is simple: most people at Holy Spirit do not realize how many Knights are in their parish. When you see a man in a KC shirt, you are looking at a Catholic brother who has made a commitment to his faith, his family, and his community.
If you see one this weekend, say hello. Ask him what it means to be a Knight. You might be surprised by the answer.
Recruitment Weekend: May 2 and 3
This same weekend, a group of Knights will be stationed before and after every Mass to answer your questions about membership. No pressure, no sales pitch. Just a conversation about what the Knights are and whether it might be right for you.
You can find us at all five Masses:
- Saturday, May 2 at 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 3 at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m.
If you are ready to learn more or think you know someone who would make a great Knight, come find us this weekend. We will be the ones in the shirts.
