Sioux Falls, SD – October 25, 2025 – The Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus once again joined hands with the community for the annual Rake the Town event, a city-wide effort to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities in the greater Sioux Falls area with their fall yard cleanup.
This year, our group of Knights was assigned three homes on the east side of Sioux Falls. With teamwork, good spirits, and plenty of energy, the crew raked and bagged leaves and yard debris—filling an impressive 44 yard bags in total. Thanks to Knight Tad Raterman, who generously hauled all the bags away, the yards were left looking clean and ready for winter.
The morning was crisp, but the camaraderie was warm. As in past years, the event was not only about yard work but also about fellowship, service, and living out our mission to support those in need within our community.
We are grateful to the Knights who volunteered their time and effort. Events like Rake the Town remind us of the impact we can make when we come together in service.
