On Memorial Day 2026, five Knights from Holy Spirit Council #15748 served as part of the Honor Guard at the Memorial Day Mass held at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.
Representing the council in full Fourth Degree regalia were Sir Knights Chuck Nietrert, Bob Hodgdon, Bill Fettes, Jay Cudzillo, and Joe Holkup. They stood with Knights from other councils in front of the cemetery’s Christ statue; capes, blue sashes, white gloves, and covers as the Mass honored the men and women who died in military service. St. Michael’s is a cemetery many of our members know well; our volunteers help maintain the grounds and the Father McGivney statue area throughout the year.
